My name is Kate McAlpine, and I live in Wellington, New Zealand. I use the natural colours and form of flowers, leaves, and other stuff I find in nature (butterfly wings, bird skulls, seaweed) to create pictures. I especially love showcasing the subtle beauty of our unique, amazing New Zealand native plants (people think they’re boring – they’re SO not!).
