All of these native flowers and leaves are from my garden.

Species (from inside out): hokataka flowers (Corokia macrocarpa), harakeke/flax flowers (Phormium tenax), euphorbia leaves (Euphorbia glauca), libertia flowers and leaves (Libertia peregrinans), creeping fuchsia flowers and leaves (Fuchsia procumbens), grey leaves of a Brachyglottis greyi cultivar, purple hebe leaves (Veronica speciosa), and northern rātā leaves(Metrosideros robusta).

When we bought our current house 10 years ago, the front section was lawn plus a small rose garden – now it’s completely and beautifully native.
