Rose garden

This is another picture done while travelling, this time from a motel in Te Anau where Colin and I stayed for 3 nights in between walking the Routeburn and Milford Tracks. This day was Christmas day, and the weather was absolutely perfect. The motel had an extensive, beautiful (if you’re into that sort of thing) rose garden, and the motel owners agreed to sacrifice a few flowers for the sake of art. Being away from home, I had to improvise a bit, using jam to glue the petals to a motel room dinner plate.

Jam makes good glue!
